Dive straight into the heart of local culture with a visit to Lombok’s oldest Sasak village. Immerse yourself in authentic village life as you watch moms caring for their little ones, grandmothers gently rocking babies on traditional swings, and kids joyfully playing gansing, a beloved local game. Here we will join a local family for a fun cooking class, learning to make traditional dishes and share a meal together enjoying the warm hospitality of the community—a perfect end to an amazing first day!

Rise and shine, it’s an early start as we embrace our inner jungle Janes to explore the breathtaking foothills of Mt. Rinjani! We’ll stroll along charming pathways through bamboo groves and lush village gardens, leading to stunning rice terraces and palms.

Leading the way to quite possibly the most beautiful waterfalls we have ever seen Sindang Gila & Tiu Kelep. Local lore says a refreshing dip here can cure anything. Along the way, our guide will introduce us to fascinating tropical plants, explaining their unique properties and how the local community uses them for medicine, food, and daily life. Keep your eyes peeled for playful long-tailed monkeys and, if we’re lucky, the rare ebony leaf monkey swinging through the trees. This is nature’s playground—wild, beautiful, and yours to explore!

After a busy morning, we’ll enjoy lunch with breathtaking views of Mt. Rinjani. Then, we’ll pack our bags and set off for a change of scenery—get ready for those stunning blue vistas! It’s time for some island bliss, so here we come, secret Gili Islands!

Get ready for an unforgettable day of exploration as we island hop around the real secret Gili Islands! Your first destination is Gili Kapal, a charming sandbar island that emerges only at low tide. Walk along the soft sand dotted with starfish and admire the crystal-clear teal waters that sparkle in the sun.

Next, you’ll set sail to Gili Petagan, an enchanting mangrove island nestled in the middle of the ocean. Navigate through the lush mangroves and walk across the bamboo platforms, perfect for snapping photos and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere.

As you make your way to Gili Bidara, dive into the vibrant underwater world and snorkel along the coral reef that connects the islands. Be mesmerized by the rich marine life, with blue starfish clinging to rocks and schools of colorful fish darting past.

Arriving at Gili Bidara, you’ll have time to unwind, sunbathe, and explore the picturesque surroundings. After a bit more snorkelling, we’ll head to Gili Kondo for lunch and leisure. Enjoy the laid-back vibes and explore the beauty of the island before we wrap up this incredible day with a beachside seafood barbecue as the sun sets—pure island bliss.

This morning is yours to embrace the laid-back island vibes at your own pace. Fancy a dive, kayaking, or paddle boarding? Or perhaps you’d prefer to relax under the palms with a refreshing coconut in hand—this time is all about you.

After lunch, we’ll journey to Tetebatu, an enchanting spot reminiscent of Ubud a century ago, where tradition, nature, and culture blend seamlessly. On the way, we’ll stop in the village of Pringgasela to discover the art of traditional weaving—a skill passed down through generations and a vital part of the local economy.

For dinner, we’ll head to a cozy local ‘warung’ where you can savor authentic traditional dishes and immerse yourself in the local flavors.

For those up early, take a stroll through the lush rice terraces and catch an unforgettable sunrise. Prefer to sleep in? You’ve got that option too! After breakfast, we’ll visit a local village to learn the art of bamboo weaving from the talented women who keep this tradition alive.

Next, we’ll head to Kuta Lombok for our final adventure—a stunning sunset at one of our favourite beaches. Then, it’s time to head into Kuta’s main town to dance the night away at our go-to spot, reflecting on the beauty, the friendships, and the amazing girlhood solo travel moments we’ve shared over the past few days.

No trip to Lombok is complete without catching some waves! We’re closing out this tour on a high with a surf lesson in a beginner’s paradise. Our qualified instructors will have you riding those waves and embracing your ultimate surf girl era in no time.
