lead our girls trips around Indonesia. And the best part is … you don’t necessarily
need experience, we’re here to empower the female travel industry and if your

Roles/Duties

Your role is to ensure our Solo Travel Girls have the best, most memorable experience as you guide them around this wonderful part of the world you are so lucky to call your home. The whole ethos is based around female empowerment through hiring local female guides to have only female tours, inspiring and motivating women from all over the world to travel.

You will be taking groups of women from 18+ along our awesome itineraries in Indonesia. You are responsible for the tour ensuring every group member had the best time and going above and beyond to make sure they feel safe and comfortable whilst having the time of their life here in Indonesia. It’s your show and we want you to show them around your wonderful country whilst giving them the best time – it is something we might do often but for many people this could be a once in a lifetime opportunity. We expect excitement and energy levels to always match as if it was your first time visiting these places, you need to be everyone’s new bestie, knight in shining armour if anything goes wrong, star of the show and all round legend! Your energy and vibe is what leads to the whole trip vibe.

As well as ensuring all our clients have the BEST time you will be expected to inform them about the culture, facts and information of the places you visit.
You will be expected to take part in all the activities and ensure everyone is safe and comfortable. Some activities require a reasonable level of fitness such as surfing, hikes, snorkelling etc so you must be reasonably active and not be scared to try new activities.
We have a list of awesome restaurants & nightspots for each area and you will be expected to take clients to the best spots and dine / have a good time with them.
On top of the guiding part of the job there is some paperwork, as you are freelance guides you will be responsible for all parts of your tour including paperwork and some marketing.
You must be organised and will be solely responsible for paperwork and operations that align directly to your tour including tracking any cash expenses whilst on the tour, confirming numbers of participants and our bookings on tour which are already booked by the Ops manager but you’re expected to double confirm, staying in contact with the group chats, ensuring the energy of the group is always high vibe even from before the tour and also getting reviews.
You will be expected to help with the Marketing of your tours, including sharing the tour in our general whatsapp & fb group prior and getting content on tours for our Social media.

Who we are looking for:

Must be female and an Indonesian citizen.
Must speak fluent English
Must be based in Bali or able to commute to Bali for the starting points of our tours.
Energy is EVERYTHING! Must have great energy, be able to confidently lead conversations and have a fun sense of humour. We can teach you skills, facts and everything about tour guiding but at the end of the day your personality is what will make the tour.
Must be confident in speaking in front of groups.
Must be organised, self motivated, responsible, hard working and reliable.
You have to LOVE being around people, looking for the number one person who can get along with everyone from all walks of life.
Customer service is at the heart of everything we do and you will be a pioneer for ensuring all guests receive the true Solo Travel Girls experience on tours.
You must have a passion for travelling in Indonesia, eating, breathing and sleeping adventures and love making new memories with women from all over the globe.
Responsible and organised, you will be solely responsible for your given tours so it’s down to you to make sure the experience is delivered professionally, organised and in line with our STG experience pillars.
